Who we are
Friends of Jewish Community of Ukraine (FJCU) is a vital organization dedicated to providing essential assistance and support to Jewish populations throughout Ukraine.
Founded on the principles of compassion and solidarity, FJCU works to alleviate the hardships faced by people and communities in need.
In times of crisis, such as natural disasters or armed conflict, FJCU plays a crucial role in organizing and facilitating evacuations, ensuring the safety and well-being of those affected. Coordinating with local authorities and international partners, FJCU helps evacuate people from danger zones and provides temporary shelter, food and medical care.
In addition, FJCU recognizes the importance of coping with the psychological and emotional effects of disasters. By providing counseling services, support groups, and trauma-informed care, the organization provides invaluable assistance to people struggling with the effects of traumatic events. By promoting recovery and healing, FJCU empowers survivors to rebuild their lives and communities.
In addition, FJCU provides important legal assistance to vulnerable populations, including refugees, displaced persons, and marginalized communities. By advocating for their rights and providing access to legal resources, the organization seeks to advance justice and protect the rights of those who are most vulnerable.

The organized FJCU Contact Center operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, to provide assistance to those in need.
